Established in 1971, the Nupress Group is an Australian owned group of companies headquartered in Cardiff NSW. The Nupress Group is a manufacturer of precision machined components and assemblies for the Defence, Aerospace, Mining and Construction sectors.
The business employs 50 staff and boasts a precision CNC machining facility furnished with current generation Mazak machine tools including turning, milling, five-axis simultaneous, and multi-tasking capabilities, complemented by robotic automation, bar feeding, probing and CMM.
John Hart will help Nupress to reduce unplanned downtime by delivering scheduled maintenance to lower the risk of breakdowns and by planning for maintenance at convenient times to minimise disruptions to production.
The specific maintenance work done is dependent on the machines being serviced, however in general it includes the replacement of various oils and filters, inspections, checks and cleaning of various components and a machine NC data backup.
Along with more efficient and predictable operation, routine scheduled maintenance will also promote a long life span for the Nupress Group’s CNC machines.
