The Mazak Integrex i-250H S multi-tasking center delivers the highest level of single-setup part-production versatility of a high-powered turning center and full-function machining center combined.

The Mazak Integrex i-250H S features a second turning spindle (S) for DONE IN ONE machining, improving machining accuracy and overall part quality while minimising fixtures, tools, handling and non-cut time.

The next generation of MAZATROL Smooth CNC technology, the MAZATROL SmoothAi control and associated software packages deliver powerful digital enhancements that add efficiency and value throughout the machining process with the power of artificial intelligence (Ai), machine learning and advanced data management technology.

The control incorporates a wide variety of advanced programming functions that allow it to offer complete ease of use and ensure high-speed, high-accuracy machining performance. For example, Mazak’s SmoothAi Spindle function, featuring AI adaptive control that suppresses milling spindle chatter by intelligently adjusting cutting technology based on feedback from sensors built into the machine.

Another MAZATROL SmoothAi function, Ai Thermal Shield ensures stable machining accuracy through machine-learning-enhanced heat displacement compensation.

Maxiport Engineering was formed in 1973 with a focus on general machining of parts and production, and purchased by the current owners Ivan Wootton and Adam Jones in 2011 who re-focused the business on precision machining.

Ivan and Adam have brought to Maxiport over 50 years combined experience in precision machining. Their impressive list of experience includes Ivan working for the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Research Establishment and Adam working for leading manufacturers of mining and defence components.

The company has developed a strong reputation for delivering products that require a high degree of precision, from prototype products to components that require a consistent high standard of CNC Turning and CNC Milling on materials ranging from plastics and aluminium to steels, stainless steels and other exotic metals.

Maxiport services a multitude of industries requiring precision machining, from Defense and Mining to Medical and High Performance Automotive, which is why they sought a world class machining solution from John Hart - the high-speed and high-accuracy machining performance of the Mazak Integrex i-250H S.
