ZCG Scalar receives their new high-performance CNC turning center, the Mazak QT-Compact 100MSY.
The MSY configuration features a milling spindle, second spindle and Y-axis, and is designed to meet a wide range of production requirements and provide maximum value.
Located in Lindenow Victoria, ZCG Scalar is an Australian designer and manufacturer of antennas, filters, multi-couplers, coaxial cables, coaxial connectors and mounting hardware used in RF communications and broadcasting.
The company began in 1970 as a family business and continues in that tradition with the current Directors Garry and Sally-Ann Kelly, who purchased ZCG Scalar in 2004.
Garry and Sally-Ann brought over 30 years experience and extensive technical knowledge to the business as well as a commitment to constant investment in their in-house engineering and manufacturing capability.
The Mazak QT-Compact 100MSY is equipped with an integral spindle/motor for high-performance and exceptional accuracy. It features C-axis indexing in 0.0001° increments plus a 12 position turret with high speed indexing and minimum tool interference. Linear roller guides on all axes assure high rigidity for high productivity machining.
The Mazak QT-Compact 100MSY also delivers outstanding ease of operation thanks to ergonomic machine design and the advanced features of the MAZATROL SmoothC CNC.
