Androck is a Rutherford NSW based manufacturing business specialising in the engineering, re-engineering and overhaul of underground mining equipment, as well as the manufacturing of their own coal haulage vehicles.

The company services a very broad customer base in the Australasian underground mining industry, stocking a wide range of mining equipment including cutter heads and shuttle cars as well as manufacturing over 90% of the high-quality and cost-effective overhaul parts they market.

The Mazak Integrex i-200S Multi-Tasking machine is a perfect addition to Androck’s manufacturing capability as it delivers maximum versatility, high precision and productivity for medium to large complex parts. The machine combines the capabilities of a high-powered turning center and a full-function machining center to produce parts in single setups.

This machine configuration features second turning spindle (S) for DONE IN ONE machining and works to eliminate multiple setups, fixtures, tools, handling and non-cut time. Additionally, the machine brings dramatic reductions in lead-time and improves part accuracy through the elimination of multiple setups.

With full 5-axis capability, the machine easily processes round parts with secondary operations, fully prismatic parts from solid blocks or castings, or highly contoured sculptured parts.
