John Marchant, from the John Hart Application Engineers Team, is going to guide you through an overview of some of the features which make the MAZATROL Smooth control so good.
Mazak has been making conversational controllers for over 45 years, and each new version gets better with more memory and faster processing, but the driving thought behind the latest MAZATROL CNC controls was to improve the operator interface, to help eliminate those errors we all make when writing programs.
In this first episode John will demonstrate how you can:
- Personalise the MAZATROL CNC control screen configuration
- Identify dimension typing errors using the Quick MAZATROL screen
- Import size and shape data from 3D models using 3D assist
- Use Solid MAZATROL to automatically write a new program from a 3D model
- Use Virtual Machining to check your machining program
