Mazak Variaxis C-700 high performance, cost-efficient, 5-axis machining center
The Mazak Variaxis C-700 simultaneous 5-axis vertical machining center uses rigid C-frame construction, a standard 30-tool changer, double-ended tilting table and fast rapid traverse rates to reduce cycle times on demanding jobs.
The Mazak Variaxis C-700 features a pallet size of 700mm x 500mm, a maximum workpiece size of Φ850mm x 500mm, and a maximum (evenly distributed) load of 700kg.
The Mazak Variaxis C-700 offers spindle specifications to meet a wide variety of machining requirements, including high-speed and high-torque options, to produce a wide range of parts from steel and non-ferrous metals.
The machine is equipped with the MAZATROL SmoothAi CNC, with a wide variety of advanced programming functions for complete ease of use and repeatable high-accuracy performance.
The automation-ready design of the Mazak Variaxis C-700 includes options such as a 2-pallet changer, robotic loaders, and hydraulic/pneumatic jigs.

Mazak drives results with innovation at DISCOVER 2025
More than 1,800 visitors from across North America joined Mazak for DISCOVER 2025. The event included the broadest machine tool display in the United States and delivered Mazak’s latest innovations to every attendee.
Mazak demonstrated technologies to suit machine shops of all sizes and workflows of all types. On top of having over 30 Mazak machine tools on display with live, real-world cutting demonstrations, Mazak also hosted keynote speakers and panel discussions with insights and advice from industry experts.
