John Hart had the pleasure of welcoming a number of Australian Mazak customers to Japan for Mazak’s Spring 2025 MIMTA (Mazak International Machine Tool Association) Tour.
This year's Mazak MIMTA Tour took place between 18 and 24 May 2025.
The tour gave visitors an exclusive opportunity to:
- Discuss products and manufacturing needs directly with Mazak product and applications engineers.
- Discover new products and emerging manufacturing technologies.
- See the latest developments in CNC machine tools and ground-breaking applications on exhibit at Mazak’s World Technology Centre.
- Journey through the history of machine tools at Mazak’s Machine Tool Museum
- Experience Mazak’s impressive state-of-the-art machine tool manufacturing facilities including:
- Oguchi – Manufacturing and HMC assembly
- Minokamo #1 – Lathe & Multi-Tasking assembly
- Minokamo #2 – Manufacturing
- Inabe – VMC and 5X assembly
The tour included renowned Japanese hospitality with magnificent dining and entertainment, as well as a superb sightseeing schedule.
