John Hart behind Archie Nelson’s bid to make the U23 C1 Australian Team

Looking to the future after competing in the recent World Championships held in Krakow earlier this year, Archie Nelson has committed to an intensive training program with his sights firmly set on progressing from the JR C1 to the U23 C1 Australian Team.

It is going to be hard work considering Archie will be fresh into a very closely contested U23 C1 group, but Archie is looking forward to the challenge of the February 2024 Australian Team selections.

Archie’s first world championship campaign, in Karkow earlier this year, has shown great potential and left him eager for more. Archie displayed good speed and delivered on all the critical moves, placing 23rd overall in the JR individuals event. Archie also participated in the JR teams event, in which the Australian Team placed 11th overall.

Archie’s potential and his passion for world class performance combined with his experience from his first world championship campaign, will help him rise through the ranks. It is Archie’s commitment and dedication that caught our eye at John Hart and we are immensely proud to be supporting his quest to compete on the world stage.
