The Mazak QTE-300MY SG with a generous swing diameter of 695mm is an easy-to-use, productive turning center with milling capability and Y-axis.

Designed for use in small machine shops, the Mazak QTE-300MY SG is equipped with a powerful 4,000 rpm, 18.5 kW, rotary spindle with built-in motor and a 91 mm diameter bore for bar sizes up to 80 mm diameter. Since no power is lost through mechanical power transmission, the built-in motor is more powerful during processing. At the same time, vibrations are reduced during high-speed operation, ensuring better surface finish and tool life.

The QTE-300MY SG is equipped with a 10" chuck. In addition, the Y-axis has a traverse path of 100 mm and a C-axis as standard for unrestricted contour machining.

A twelve-position hydraulically clamped, servo-driven turret is fitted, with all positions capable of accepting driven tools. A high level of productivity during milling is achieved by a powerful 5.5 kW milling spindle with a maximum speed of 4,500 rpm or optionally 6,000 rpm.

The QTE-300MY SG is equipped with a tool eye for automatic tool measurement and broken tool detection during operation. This leads to a reduction in tool set-up time and further improves the productivity and profitability of the machine.

The MAZATROL SmoothEz CNC packs productivity and enhanced features into a bright 15" capacitive touch-screen display with customizable screens and layouts, plus a full onscreen keyboard. The advanced user interface displays 60 programming lines at once to speed the use of both EIA/G-code and MAZATROL programming. The control is responsive, efficient and easy to learn, even for new operators.
