WH Blakeley has become the market leader through innovation and by embracing cutting-edge technologies like the Mazak VCN-530C which delivers the highest productivity in this class of vertical machining centers and is designed to process large parts or multiple small workpieces in single machine setups.

The Mazak VCN-530C vertical machining center brings advanced technology, performance and value to WH Blakeley for a wide variety of applications.

Contributing to the 3-axis machine’s productivity are a fast traverse rate of 42,000mm/min in the X, Y and Z axes and a servo-driven automatic tool changer that can be combined with a 40-tool magazine option to bring even more part processing versatility to the shop floor through fast tool exchanges and continuous cutting operation.

The user-friendly Mazatrol SmoothG CNC featured on the Mazak VCN-530C offers EIA/ISO programming as well as conversational programming that makes it easy to generate programs for drilling, milling or tapping operations.

WH Blakeley is a Melbourne based, Australian owned company that manufactures high quality industrial knives and consumables for a wide range of industries including paper, printing, forestry, metal working, plastics, and recycling.

William Henry Blakeley established the saw and knife manufacturing business in 1867, the first of its kind in Australia. The business is still operated by the Blakeley family, who proudly continue to supply high quality industrial products such as their flagship Platinum guillotine blade for the printing industry and their state-of-the-art Wildfire chipper blade for the wood chipping industry.
