Vericut is the world’s leading G-Code program simulation and verification software. It is developed by a US based company called CGtech.
Vericut software is used to simulate CNC machining in order to detect errors, potential collisions, or areas of inefficiency. Vericut enables NC programmers to correct errors before the program is ever loaded on the CNC machine, thereby eliminating manual prove-outs.
Apart from Verification, Vericut also has modules for machining optimisation by automatically adjusting feeds and speeds by looking at material removal and cutting forces.
Although Vericut is a standalone product that can work independently, having an interface with your cam software can save a lot of time by using data already defined to create programs in the cam system. Most leading cam softwares have interface with Vericut including Hypermill.
Vericut works with all major machine tool manufactures.
