The Space Gear has an extremely large cutting envelope, ranging from flat sheets to cubic workpieces. By means of Mazak's unique fixed beam discharge length, cutting performance and accuracy are the same at any locaiton on the worktable. The 64-bit CNC combined with high-rigidity construction delivers high-speed performance for the cutting of flat worksheets. The compact cutting head is designed for the minimum workpiece interference when cutting cubic parts. The simultaneously controlled 6-axis CNC can cut a precision joint of a round pipe and a square structural component in just three program lines.
