Robotics Programming & Operation Training

Objectives

This course introduces attendees to the fundamental principles of using robots and the safe operation and programming of them. This course covers:

  • Introduction to robots.
  • Introduction to RJ series robot controller.
  • Familiarisation with robot features.
  • Safety considerations.
  • Robot operation.
  • Robot programming.
  • Robot care & basic maintenance.
  • Application specific operation and programming.

Course Details

The course length is three days of eight (8) hours per day. The course covers theoretical and 'hands on' training (subject to robot availability, particularly if training is conducted on site) and is limited to a maximum of six (6) people to be trained at any one time.

Training can be conducted on site or at John Hart Automation's training rooms.

It is recommended that a 'follow up' course of one (1) day be conducted to pick up where each individual requires additional tuition, ensure the training has been effective and to reduce the risk of unsafe operating procedures developing.   

Course Cost

The cost of this three (3) day course is A$1,350.00 per person + GST (Min 3 people per course) and includes the following:

  1. Training Documentation
  2. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea (if training conducted at John Hart) or meals and accommodation of JHA engineer (if training conducted on site in Melbourne metro area)
  3. Theoretical and 'hands on' training.
  4. Application specific training.

The cost of the one (1) day 'follow up' course is A$550.00 per person + GST. Travelling costs to and from the training site are exclusive and will be charged at cost. On site training requires the availability of one robot for every three (3) people or part thereof.
