The new Fanuc M430iA/2F robot has been specifically designed for the food and pharmaceutical industries. 
This 5 axis, 2 kg payload model is a versatile, high speed robot suited to working unattended for extended periods in aggressive environments.

The M-430iA/2F features include:
•      120 cycles per minute (cpm) continuous motion with a 1kg payload and 100 cpm with 2kg payload
•      A long 900mm reach
•      2 dual drive motors to provide joint 1 rotation of up to 300 degrees per second, speeds often required for fast pace pick and place applications involving food.

Essential to the regular working environment, the M430iA/2F is built for clean and contaminant free operation with food and other consumables, and this is achieved through:
•      Resistance against acid and alkaline materials
•      IP67 double seal structure
•      Wrist axis unit that does not require lubrication
•      Food grade grease confined to casings
•      Hollow arm structure devoid of outer cables

R-30iA

FANUC Robotics' System R-30iA Controller uses advanced technology packaged in a proven, reliable and efficient design. Process capability and open architecture features provide intelligence to improve application and motion performance while simplifying system integration.
The SYSTEM R-30iA Controller incorporates FANUC Robotics' unique "plug-in options" concept, which allows flexibility for application specific configurations while maintaining a commonality for all users of the system.

The controller can manage up to 40 axes that are using FANUC motors (divided in up to 8 groups; one group can control up to 9 axes), such as:

- 4 robot arms +
- 4 auxiliary axes groups
(arc welding positioners, robot rails, servo hands, grippers... )

The R-30iA controller offers enhanced vibration control, this greatly reduces the robot's acceleration and deceleration times leading to reduced cycle times.

The controller provides an integrated 2d vision system to speed-up the installation of vision applications, this can be easily upgraded to provide a 3D Vision system.
